Evaluation & Treatment

Our fertility specialists understand the emotional roller coaster that some couples experience when dealing with infertility. Since fertility follows a monthly cycle, it can take months to run all the appropriate tests and devise a successful treatment plan.

We will be there for you during the whole process, doing everything we can to help you conceive and have the family you’ve dreamed of.

There are many possible causes of infertility, including these:

  • Problems with ovulation that keep eggs from being released
  • Problems with the fallopian tubes that prevent the fertilized egg from moving to the uterus
  • Problems with the uterus that keep the egg from implanting
  • Hormonal problems that disrupt fertility
  • Problems with the amount or health of the male sperm

Wendover OB/GYN and Infertility’s evaluation process looks at all possible factors and any possible treatments. If infrequent ovulation is the problem, for instance, we can prescribe medicine that stimulates ovulation. We also perform ultrasound follicle studies.

If the male sperm is a factor, an intrauterine insemination (IUI) injects concentrated sperm directly into the uterus during ovulation. Our experienced medical team has helped thousands of Triad women conceive.

Schedule an appointment today to learn about your options and what Wendover OB/GYN and Infertility has to offer.
